European Funds for Mazovia 2021-2027

4MASS SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA has received a grant from the European Union for a project entitled. "Research and development work on the development of an innovative gel system for the styling of brittle and fragile nails". The project is implemented under the European Funds for Mazovia 2021-2027 program.

The aim of the project is to develop a revolutionary gel system for the styling of brittle and fragile nails, free of ingredients classified as skin irritants, with a strengthening and nurturing effect on the nail plate, while ensuring the durability of the styling for up to 6 weeks. The system will consist of two products: a nail plate degreaser and a one-phase builder gel (a gel that combines the functions of base coat, color and does not require top coat). In addition, the heat emission during the curing of the gel will be reduced (the burning sensation accompanying styling will be reduced), and reducing the number of products required for a full styling to two products will reduce the working time required for a gel manicure by 25%. The developed product will be a composite, multifunctional product, designed to extend the nail plate and additionally show care, regeneration and strengthening of the plate.

The project includes the implementation of the following activities:

Industrial research: Phase 1 - development of base formulations consisting of selected ingredients that meet basic assumptions, Phase 2 - development of model formulations for degreaser and building gel, Phase 3 - verification of stability of developed formulations and compatibility with target packaging,

Experimental development work: Stage 4 - verification studies of the developed ultraviolet-cured model formulations using probands, Stage 5 - verification of the developed gel system under the conditions of pilot project and application tests, development of optimal parameters of the production process.

Pre-implementation work: refers to the Applicant's acquisition of intellectual property rights for the result of research work in the R&D module.

The result of the project will be: Introducing a product innovation (a gel system for styling brittle and fragile nails) into their own business.

Target group: the project products will target 3 groups of customers: Mass market based on big-box stores and drugstores, including online; Beauty salon market; Contract manufacturing for third-party brands (private label).
